American Idols Live...
I just wanted to inform all of you that I did attend American Idols live last night and it was amazing. I got to see Michael Johns sing "We are the Champions" and "We will rock you"---which was AMAZING. I got to see David Cook live...that was truly the icing on the cake. The others were good and I must say they have all improved since the season. It really was a great expericence and I will post pictures later...once I find the cord to attach my camera to my laptop...

WARNING!!!!
**** if you have not already watched the american idol results show from yesterday...stop reading now.
Couple things about American Idol last night...
1. I really don't know what the producers and all those other folks were trying to do with the three people on this side and three people on that side...ok now switch. That was just stupid. I must admit however that if David Cook had been in the bottom three I would have had to give some serious consideration to boycotting the rest of the season. However if Christy Lee Cook would have stayed in a week longer I would have also had to give some serious thought to boycotting...she was terrible and the only reason she stayed in as long as she did was because she was good looking. I have proof of this...a guy friend of mine said that he is only rooting for Christy and Brooke because they are good looking. However, I must admit that David Cook is my pick for winner of season 7, and that does not entirely lie on the fact that he does have talent.
2. Also, I am kinda over the whole call in and ask questions thing...only because people never ask the contestants questions. They always ask the judges questions, and I personally don't care about the judges. Paula---seriously, the flower--it has to go!!! The only good thing about last night's questions was that we did find out that David Cook is single. :)
Now, on to the Rangers...
three words guys...GET IT TOGETHER!!!!! 6-9, we can do much better than that...and come on does it seriously take us 14 innings to win a baseball game. I don't know if you got the memo, but a standard baseball game is 9 innings...I was dreaming by the time the game was over last night. Good thing I get text messages telling me the updates on the games, otherwise I would have had to wait for my kids to tell me.

shock and amazement...
O.K., so my prediction was wrong, way wrong. My prediciton for the next idol voted off last night was Brooke White...but much to my amazement it was not Brooke or any of the female contestants (which by the way, none of the girls are just great this year). If you did not watch, Michael Johns was the one voted off, and I thought personally that he was pretty good. When I was informed that he was the one going home, I must say my jaw almost hit the floor. I really still can't believe that he is gone and Brooke White and Christy Lee Cook is still hanging around!!!!! What is wrong with America!?!?!?! He was one of my predictions for the final 4...but I guess I need to redo that.
I am just glad that David Cook didn't go home...he is my favorite...
this is the wall paper I have on my computer currently...My kids at school give me a hard time about it, especially when I turn on my projector and they all see it...
Jana...don't be jealous!!!
Side Note: The Rangers won both games of a double header yesterday, and they are now above .500! I did go to the game last night, I guess they just needed me there for good luck...now if we could just get Kameron Loe back from triple A the games would be worth going to.

so you had a bad day...
So I know that you have probably heard that song. Yesterday just was not a good day for some of my favorite things.
Yes...yesterday was Rangers home opener, and they lost (8-1). And I just would like to say thank you to all my "friends" who had to remind me on several occasions that they did infact lose. This morning, my students felt the need to just go ahead and rub salt in the wound that was already there...so thanks guys. My response to all of you is "don't worry...there is still alot of season left!!"
Also, last night was American Idol. My friends and I gathered together to eat dinner and watch Idol (we gathered together so we didn't have to communicate about it via text this week). We did gather at my house, and I did make dinner...let me give some of you an opportunity to pick yourself up off the ground...We watched idol and of course I was super excited when contestant #5 came up...my favorite--David Cook!!! However, after his performance I was just a little, actually a lot disappointed. I normally send in quite a few votes for him, but this week, since I still do have a strong liking for him, rather than sending several votes, I only sent 2. He lost some major points with me when at the end of his performance he put his hand up to the camera and it read "give back"...which all in all is not a bad message, but seriously dude, that was super cheesy!!!!! And someone else obviously wrote it on his hand, since he is a lefty and it was on his left hand (and plus, the writing was a little girly)...So my note to David Cook...be yourself, not who you think everyone wants you to be...
Last part of this post...my prediction for this weeks american idol dismissal. (side note: the last two weeks I have been dead on...) My prediciton (or maybe this is just my wish) for this week...Brooke White. (sorry jana, anna, and rebekah...I know your feelings for her, but you also know mine for her)
